Where can I access my benefit card?

  1. Log into your Aon Choice site at aonchoice.aon.ca.
  2. Click on My Benefit Card > View Card.
  3. Save your benefit card information on your phone and/or print this page and keep in your wallet.

Your benefit card has information such as your group number, employee ID and other important information which is required to submit a claim at a pharmacy or health provider.

Emergency travel assistance

Your benefit card also includes travel assistance contact information, in case of an emergency while travelling outside of your province. Remember to take this information with you when travelling.

How do I submit claims?

There are four ways you can submit claims to Sun Life Insurance:

  1. Online. Log on to the Aon Choice site and click the My Sun Life Website > Claims Website tile on the “my benefits” page.
  2. Benefit card. Give your benefit card information to your pharmacist or other health providers so that they can submit claims directly on your behalf.
  3. Mobile app. Download Sun Life’s “my Sun Life Mobile” application and submit simple claims through your mobile phone.
  4. Paper claim. For more complex claims, use a paper claim form.
